Emily Brandt has been teaching at Scotts Valley High School for 19 years. She currently teaches the Career Technical Education pathway introducing students to graphic design and advanced media production using Adobe software. She is the Arts Department Chair and has put on over 18 annual art shows. During her time here at SV High she was also a Cabrillo College art history instructor for 11 years and was the Scotts Valley Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year in 2019. Teaching is her passion. She lives in Ben Lomond with her husband and 11 year old son. They built a chicken coop during quarantine and now have 12 chickens along with their 2 cats. Emily loves to camp with her family, often going on 3 week trips to National Parks, painting and mountain biking. Emily is also a faux rock enthusiast trying to make large boulders out of cement on the weekends!
