My name is Tira Schindler and this is my fifth year teaching. I am originally from Los Angeles but now call Santa Cruz my home! On the weekends, you can usually find me at the beach, on a hike with my dog, at a local coffee shop, or checking out the produce at the farmers market. I feel so passionate about my work as a teacher at Brook Knoll Elementary. Interweaving social-emotional lessons with art, science, music, P.E, and academic subjects is something I strive for.
